03.Dec.2009 Are you struggling this winter and still would like to participate?

Its hard times in this economy, we understand. Giving is a very unselfish thing to do but sometimes you have to look out for you and your own. If you are interested in participating but are worried about the financial obligation, why dont you try something else?

Even though this whole thing is called *cans for comments*, it doesnt mean that its limited to just can goods. Feel free to go crazy with it.

One idea that involves not much more than your own time would be to donate ten minutes of your time for every comment left.

This campaign is bigger this year than last, it has grown 10 fold. With the response we are getting and the amount of cans and food that will be going out, I am sure that the food banks and Soup Kitchens in your area are going to need help.

What about donating your talents and skills to a local family or two? If you are a photo blogger, why dont you hop on over to http://www.help-portrait.com/ as well and lend a helping hand.  Their big day is Dec 12th, I’m sure they would love to have you around.
